Father's Day Gift Guide

DSC02421.jpg

I don’t often mention my husband William, in the Mimi’s Bowl feed, but I am very lucky to be sharing my journey of parenthood with him. Not only is he a truly brilliant Dad to both my children, he is also a confidante and a source of strength to me.

This post and gift guide is dedicated to him! A much deserved mention, in return for all that he does for us.

Happy Father’s Day to William, or dada and all the other very special dads in our lives

Everyday essentials ~

New reusable coffee cup we are all trying in my house to live a little more sustainably. This is such a great design a must have for any parent, who might be a few hours short of a good night’s sleep

The smartest striped apron to inspire some new recipes and cooking. Less laundry for everyone too!

Soft lined slippers, for a little comfort for around the house

Socks you can never go wrong with an extra pair of new socks!

Outdoor fun ~

If you are looking to splash out this father’s day, what about a new family BBQ that you can all enjoy. A gift for the whole family, nothing tastes better than food cooked outdoors.

Boules this is such a fun father’s day present, from the kids (my husband would love this). And everyone can join in the game.

You can’t get wrong with an investment but like a pair of classic Hunter wellies, my husband likes the shorter style, which is more comfortable to wear and ideal for muddy London parks!

A fun educational game to play as a family Match a Leaf, a great way of getting the whole family outdoors

Home comforts ~

I love this really smart drinks set, for hot or cold drinks: portable lined drinks pack that includes two double walled glasses, a stainless steel flask, teaspoon and corkscrew (all useful)

You can never go wrong with chocolate, these Rococo thins are DE-licious

Bialetti’s signature six-cup Moka Express stovetop espresso maker, the crema of the crop when it comes to coffee.

What about a beautifully made picnic blanket this one will last the test of time

Gadgets and ideas ~

Polaroid’s OneStep+ is a new instant camera, it connects to the Polaroid Originals app via Bluetooth® wireless technology: love this for family snaps!

Marble base charging station for your iPhone or iPad, a little luxury to keep connected

Who wouldn’t want to get organised with this chic toolbox (or multi-purpose tray tidy). Now it is time to blitz the under the stairs cupboard…

A new personalised notebook, for keeping organised, I gave my husband some of these notebooks for his birthday and he loved them: simple and thoughful

Holiday time ~

Vintage style wooden bats, great for holidayer even just a trip to your local park

Daddy and me swim shorts, for the beach, this turtle design is fab

Clarins multi protection sunscreen: high level sun and anti-pollution protection in a lightweight and water-resistant texture

The new James Bond collection with Orlebar Brown has so many great pieces, my top pick is this men’s cotton towelling polo (inspired by the one he wore when he first encounters Honey Ryder on Crab Key Beach, Jamaica in Dr. No 1962)
