Eating Outdoors

This week I am sharing more easy summer recipes, including some great ideas for family picnics; especially given it is #nationalpicnicweek. Whilst this sun in shining lets all make the most of Summer. As a family we have been trying to eat outdoors (as I really believe food tastes better in the sunshine). Even if it means dragging a picnic rug into our small garden...

So far I have made a quick and easy Chilled Pea Soup; which could easily be made into a pea puree for little ones. Also a Herby Cous Cous Salad which is a brilliant way of adding texture to any baby, or toddlers diet. I make this recipe again and again and there are so many different variations. For Father's Day I made a quick and easy Chicken Salad, based on coronation chicken, with a twist.

I am also trying a new homemade restaurant Fruity and Oat Bar recipe. I'll be whizzing up some lovely Summer dip ideas and also testing a quick cheat for making Wholemeal Bread Sticks for dipping. I'd love your ideas on what picnic foods work for you and your family too!
