It is the Easter holidays and I am going to be working on lots of family recipes, and a few good food ideas for food over the holidays. Culminating in an impressive but simple Family Lunch, that works for both adults and toddlers. I strongly believe it is possible to all eat the same food and enjoy it together: even the idea of making separate "baby food" is stressful. Eating together as a family is often a luxury during the working week, but I try really hard to make this happen on the weekends and in the holidays.
On the menu is a delicious Pea and Ricotta Dip, to serve with veggie sticks and toast. A toddler friendly Finger Food Platter; which I find to be a great way of using up leftovers in the fridge. It is also fantastic for playdates, or in the holidays, when all parents feel time-short. I am also cooking my delicious Sweet Potato, Lentil and Coconut Curry recipe, which again works for the whole family. I will be testing out a new Wholemeal and Banana Muffin Recipe and cooking an old favourite Vanilla Poached Pears, with Raspberry Sauce. So hopefully there will be lots of ideas and inspiration, whilst school is out!
