These simple morning smoothies are just a handful of ingredients, which you then blitz ~ it really doesn't get easier than that. These are one of our favourite go-to smoothie recipes and so easy to make before/ after nursery. I make 3 versions: strawberry (pink), blueberry (blue), spinach (green). By talking about the different colours of food with my daughter, I am able to start a conversation around fruits, vegetables and their benefits.
You could also freeze any left overs into ice lollies!
1 banana and 50ml milk (dairy or non dairy)
strawberries, stalk removed and cut in half
a few baby spinach leaves
